Healthcare has been the focus of Nelly Coussin and Meinolf Kümper, the founders and owners of the Noracent Group, since 2003. During their work as consultants, which centred on hospital care in Germany and abroad, they gained insights at an early stage into the existing systems and the challenges they face.
It soon became apparent that the supply of patients in care settings, especially those cared for at home by relatives or a home care service, calls for more flexible supply and care than is usual in the traditional wholesale business.
These experiences, long-standing relationships with the pharmaceutical industry and a well-maintained network covering patient care supplies structures provided the impetus for today’s Noracent.
